The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing Scania, Mercedes, and MAN trucks, and experience working within a transport company environment<br \/>\nLocation: Lusaka<br \/>\nNumber of Vacancies: 2<br \/>\nReporting to: Workshop supervisor<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Scania, Mercedes, and MAN diesel trucks.<br \/>\nInspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and resolve them efficiently.<br \/>\nConduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other complex mechanical tasks.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with safety and environmental standards.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate service records and documentation.<br \/>\nCollaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and ensure the fleet\u2019s reliability.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 certificate<br \/>\nAdvanced Craft certificate<br \/>\nProven experience as a Mechanic with a focus on Scania, Mercedes, and MAN trucks.<br \/>\nAt least 4 years of experience in a transport company or a similar environment.<br \/>\nStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.<br \/>\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.<br \/>\nKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in vehicle maintenance.<br \/>\nRelevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
