Job Purpose
\nReporting to the Manager Commercial Services, the Billing Administrator will be responsible for planning and coordinating the billing system administration.
\nMain Duties and Responsibilities (Principal Accountabilities)<\/p>\n
Prepare and distribute bills to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
\nMaintain bill cycles to ensure seamless billing operations.
\nManage and update customer database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
\nPerform data validation and cleansing to maintain data integrity.
\nRespond to and resolve customer complaints related to billing issues.
\nProvide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
\nAdminister and maintain the billing system to ensure optimal performance.
\nTroubleshoot system issues and escalate to IT support when necessary.
\nTrain users of the billing system to ensure effective usage.
\nManage and supervise subordinates to ensure high-performance standards.
\nConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
\nPrepare and submit reports on billing operations, customer database, and system performance.
\nAnalyze data and provide insights to support business decision-making.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Grade (12) Certificate with five O levels including English and Mathematics
\nBachelor`s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a Business related Discipline.
\n3 years experience in a similar role
\nMember of a relevant Professional Body
\nQualifications must be verified by the Zambia Qualification Authority<\/p>\n
