{"id":2530,"date":"2025-03-12T12:02:06","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T12:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/remote-procurement-lead-x6-at-recruiter\/"},"modified":"2025-06-26T00:14:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T00:14:07","slug":"remote-procurement-lead-x6-at-recruiter","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=2530","title":{"rendered":"Remote Procurement Lead x6 at Recruiter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a Remote Procurement Lead, you\u2019ll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing our client\u2019s and vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient procurement processes to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain performance.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nStrategic Planning and Execution:<br \/>\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.<br \/>\nIdentify and analyse spend categories to identify potential savings opportunities.<br \/>\nConduct market research and analysis to identify suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.<br \/>\nSupplier Relationship Management:<br \/>\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.<br \/>\nEvaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.<br \/>\nManage supplier contracts and ensure compliance.<br \/>\nProcurement Operations:<br \/>\nManage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment.<br \/>\nEnsure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and invoices.<br \/>\nMonitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.<br \/>\nCost Management and Savings:<br \/>\nNegotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers.<br \/>\nIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives.<br \/>\nTrack and report on procurement performance and savings.<br \/>\nCollaboration and Communication:<br \/>\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and requirements.<br \/>\nCommunicate procurement policies and procedures to stakeholders.<br \/>\nProvide training and support to procurement team members.<br \/>\nRisk Management:<br \/>\nIdentify and assess procurement-related risks.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and policies<br \/>\nSkills and Qualifications:<br \/>\nEducation:<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.<br \/>\nExperience:<br \/>\n5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.<br \/>\nRegistered or affiliated with relevant corporate bodies.<br \/>\nSkills:<br \/>\nStrong negotiation and communication skills.<br \/>\nProficiency in procurement software and systems.<br \/>\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.<br \/>\nStrong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.<br \/>\nSoft Skills:<br \/>\nAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.<br \/>\nStrong organizational and time management skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<br \/>\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work remotely.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
