The Required Skills for the role include:<\/p>\n
Receiving all picking slips raised by sales office, generate loading orders and follow up on loading orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of finished products.
\nAllocating vehicles for feed deliveries and raw materials and purchases collection.
\nAssisting the Logistics Administrator in the daily management of the petty cash.
\nOrganizing of the internal and external maintenance of the fleet, by informing service providers prior to the arrival of the truck\/vehicle.
\nLiaison with suppliers of tires and users\/drivers and make recommendation to change the tires if necessary.
\nKeeping an up-to-date plan and record of the maintenance requirement of the fleet and ensures that drivers are well instructed and carry out the required activities as according to the maintenance plan.
\nExecuting additional administration task at the request of the Logistics Manager.
\nWill be responsible for maintaining the hygiene environment.
\nPreparing Monthly Fuel reports, and ensuring that truck operates within the stipulated benchmarks.
\nManaging drivers i.e., training, leave planning, coaching and disciplinary action<\/p>\n
The Required Qualifications are:<\/p>\n
A full Grade 12 Certificate
\nDegree\/Diploma in Transport and Logistics or equivalent
\n3-5 years experience
\nSkilled in planning, organizing and managing logistics operations<\/p>\n
