\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Oversee the production of mead fermentation, ethanol production, and gin distillation, ensuring high-quality output.
\nRefine and follow gin recipes to ensure top quality premium products.
\nLead and mentor the production team, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to production targets.
\nImplement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and excellence in every batch.
\nTroubleshoot issues related to fermentation, distillation, and bottling processes.
\nEnsure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
\nCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to align products with market trends and brand identity.
\nManage inventory of raw materials and finished products, minimizing waste and ensuring consistent supply.
\nMaintain accurate documentation of production processes and comply with industry regulations.
\nInnovate and experiment with new ingredients and techniques to continuously improve products.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Proven experience in distillation and spirits production, especially with mead, ethanol, and gin.
\nMaster Distiller Certification (or equivalent) from a recognized institution (preferably from South Africa or the UK).
\nAt least 1-3 years of experience in a senior distillation or production role.
\nStrong knowledge of recipe formulation.
\nPassion for crafting high-quality spirits with attention to detail.
\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in the spirits industry.
\nExcellent leadership and team management skills.
\nStrong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting production challenges.
\nGood organizational skills with the ability to meet production deadlines.
\nFluent in English (local languages are a plus).<\/p>\n
