\nAbout the role:
\nThe Chief Maintenance Engineer (2) will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities at the factory, including the upkeep of the building, mechanical and electrical systems, and production machinery. This role ensures the continuous operation of production lines by developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring they meet daily operational objectives.
\nDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all factory equipment, including production machinery and building systems (e.g.,\u00a0 electrical, plumbing).
\nOversee the installation, inspection, and servicing of all mechanical and electrical equipment within the factory.
\nEnsure all machinery operates efficiently and safely by conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting issues.
\nPrepare and manage the maintenance department\u2019s budget, including costs related to labor, equipment, and materials needed to be in stock.
\nKeep up-to-date with the latest regulations and technologies related to industrial maintenance and safety.
\nLiaise with external vendors, contractors, and manufacturers for specialized maintenance services and spare parts procurement.
\nMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment log books, maintenance schedules, and incident reports.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
\nStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, production machinery, and building infrastructure.
\nProven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
\nExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\nFamiliarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in an industrial setting.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and maintenance management software.
