Health Officer
\nJob Summary: The Health Officer will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health programs that promote community well-being in line with the organization\u2019s sustainability objectives. The focus will be on improving health outcomes through sustainable and preventative measures.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Program Planning & Implementation: Develop and manage health initiatives that address key health challenges in the community, including sanitation, nutrition, and disease prevention.
\nHealth Education & Advocacy: Lead community health education campaigns, focusing on sustainable practices that improve public health (e.g., clean water, sanitation, and hygiene).
\nResource mobilization: Undertake resource mobilization activities to solicit funds for health related projects
\nMonitoring & Evaluation: Collect data, monitor health outcomes, and assess the effectiveness of health programs. Provide regular reports and recommendations.
\nPartnership Building: Work with health authorities, community leaders, and other NGOs to strengthen health systems and improve community access to healthcare services.
\nCapacity Building: Train community health workers and local volunteers on sustainable health practices, disease prevention, and health promotion.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
\nProven experience in health program implementation and management.
\nKnowledge of community health issues, especially those related to closed up communities.
\nThree (3) years working experience in non-governmental organizations
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
