\nAbout the role:
\nWe are seeking warehouse workers (20) who will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including handling raw materials, spare parts, consumables, semi-finished, and finished products.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist in the receiving and unloading of materials and products delivered to the warehouse.
\nVerify the accuracy of shipments, check for damages, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse manager
\nSafely move materials to the appropriate storage areas.
\nPick and pack materials and finished products according to order specifications.
\nPrepare items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged and correctly labelled.
\nAssist in loading products onto delivery vehicles.
\nOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products as needed.
\nFollow safety protocols when operating machinery and handling heavy items.
\nUse warehouse management software to record stock movements and update inventory levels.
\nAssist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
\nGrade 12 Certificate\u00a0 or equivalent is preferred
\nBasic computer skills for using warehouse software.
\nFamiliarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is an advantage.
\nAbility to lift heavy materials and stand, walk, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
\nValid driving license for forklift vehicles, according to the Zambian regulations (not a must, but would be nice)<\/p>\n
