The successful candidate will report directly to the Lodge Manager and play a key role in managing the lodge\u2019s financial operations.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u2013 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decision-making.<br \/>\n\u2013 Develop, manage, and monitor budgets to optimize financial performance.<br \/>\n\u2013 Ensure timely payment of suppliers and effective management of vendor relationships.<br \/>\n\u2013 Process payroll using Dove Payroll software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br \/>\n\u2013 Reconcile bank statements and lodge accounts to maintain financial integrity.<br \/>\n\u2013 Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for financial efficiency.<br \/>\n\u2013 Oversee inventory and stock control, ensuring cost-effective procurement.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.<br \/>\n\u2013 Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard lodge assets.<br \/>\n\u2013 Handle cash management and oversee daily financial transactions.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare financial forecasts and advise management on financial planning.<br \/>\n\u2013 Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare NHIMA, NAPSA &amp; PAYE returns and ensure that they are paid in time<br \/>\nPersonal Attributes:<br \/>\n\u2013 Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.<br \/>\n\u2013 Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.<br \/>\n\u2013 Proficiency in payroll processing using Dove Payroll software.<br \/>\n\u2013 Mature, trustworthy, and of high integrity.<br \/>\n\u2013 Experience in the hospitality industry an added advantage<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
