\nAbout the Role:
\nAre you a vigilant and proactive security professional with strong leadership skills? We are looking for a Senior Security Officer to oversee and enhance security operations, ensuring the safety of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns.
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Train and mentor security guards on safety protocols and best practices.
\nDevelop and implement comprehensive security procedures to minimize risks and incidents.
\nConduct routine patrols to maintain a secure environment.
\nMonitor fuel allocations to ensure accuracy in vehicle refueling.
\nPerform regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
\nRespond swiftly to emergencies such as fires, security breaches, and incidents.
\nInvestigate and document security-related occurrences.
\nOversee CCTV and alarm systems to prevent tampering or unauthorized access.
\nManage access control and observe all movements within the premises.
\nEnsure adherence to legal security regulations and organizational policies.
\nMaintain detailed security reports, including daily occurrences and monthly summaries.
\nSupervise parking lot management and hedge maintenance as required.
\nUphold standard operating procedures and enforce compliance.
\nUndertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/p>\n
Proven experience in security management or a related role.
\nStrong leadership and decision-making skills.
\nKnowledge of risk assessment and emergency response procedures.
\nExperience with security systems, including CCTV monitoring.
\nAbility to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
\nFamiliarity with relevant security laws and regulations.
\nExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Must be a Zambian holder of a green national registration card.
\nMust have 3 years of experience in a similar role.
\nMust have a full grade 12 certificate.
\nMust be able to express themselves in English with strong writing and reporting skills.<\/p>\n
