JOB ADVERT \u2013 ACCOUNTANT.
\nAller Aqua Zambia Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Accountant. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and will be based at the Aller Aqua Zambia Factory, in Siavonga.
\nJOB PURPOSE:
\nThe accountant is responsibility for end-to-end processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The role ensures timely reviews of ledger entries, reconciliation of sub-ledgers, and resolving variances. The role also is responsible for providing support in financial statement preparation, audit schedules, and budget forecasting.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring everything from ledgers to bank statements is accurately managed.
\nPreparing monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
\nMonitor the accounts receivable process, issuing invoices, collecting payments, and reconciling accounts
\nSupporting tax filings and ensuring we stay compliant with Zambian tax regulations.
\nAssist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
\nAssist with reconciliation of accounts and supporting internal and external audits.
\nMonitoring cash flow and managing accounts payable\/receivable to keep the business running smoothly.
\nProviding insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions.
\nEffective and diligent monitoring of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
\nCollaborating with different departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
\nEnsure that all financial records are properly kept and recorded in the books of accounts.
\nAssist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
\nParticipate in the monthly stock take.
\nCarry out other accounting and financial management tasks as necessary.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE)
\nBachelor\u2019s degree plus final\/studying ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA, or a full professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA.
\nFamiliarity with Zambian tax regulations, IFRS, and feed production cost structures.
\nExcellent knowledge of accounting packages
\nMember of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
\nMinimum of four (4) years relevant working experience.<\/p>\n
