\nWe are looking for a suitably qualified, competent, and highly motivated professional based in Lusaka to fill the position of Senior Fraud Investigation\u00a0 Officer.
\nJob Mission:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsible for actively identifying, investigating, and resolving suspected fraudulent activities within an organization by analyzing financial records, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and preparing detailed reports to mitigate financial losses and ensure compliance with regulations.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Conduct fraud investigations (both internal and external).
\nWork closely with audit and compliance teams to address potential fraud risks.
\nPrepare police case descriptions and manage police cases.
\nLiaise directly with police to expedite reports and actions.
\nPerform mystery shopping to uncover potential fraud risk.
\nProvide regular reports on fraud trends and potential loopholes.
\nImplement security policy, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
\nDeliver fraud awareness training and create no no-fraud culture in the company.
\nImprove fraud case resolution speed and reduce financial losses.
\nStrengthen our relationship with law enforcement for better cooperation.
\nTake a proactive approach to fraud risk rather than reacting to the incidents.
\nEasing the burden on our HQ fraud team and allow HQ to focus on strategic fraud prevention rather than day-to-day cases.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
5 years\u2019 experience in investigations.
\nA strong background in law enforcement, preferably with prior experience in the police force. A background in financial services is preferred.
\nUnderstanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
\nHigh sense of responsibility, preciseness, and ability to plan and set priorities.
\nExperience conducting audits, mystery shopping, or similar investigative activities.
\nProven experience working with law enforcement agencies and handling fraud cases.
\nComfortable using online research and OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) tools.<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
prefer diplomas or degrees in law enforcement, criminology, forensic science, or public administration.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\nPrevious experience in banking and financial service \u2013 advantageous.
\nGood communication skills in English.
\nStrong leadership, management, and motivational skills.
\nHardworking person with flexible mindset.
\nConflict resolution and negotiation skills.
\nDriving license required \u2013 30% travel.
\nValid Police Clearance Certificate.<\/p>\n
