He\/she is also engaged in the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and servicing of a wide variety of automotive, including gasoline, electric, hybrid and natural gas powered, and\/or heavy-duty diesel equipment, refrigerated trucks, gensets and forklifts.<br \/>\nThe role is based in\u00a0Kitwe.<br \/>\nThe main responsibilities of the position include:<br \/>\nConducts scheduled maintenance on automotive machinery, systems, and all other machinery<br \/>\nAssembles mechanical components according to specifications.<br \/>\nExamines (automotive) machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine anomalies<br \/>\nDesigns a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades for all units in operation<br \/>\nMaintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records for all units<br \/>\nOffers consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to all mechanical equipment<br \/>\nPerforms vehicle Assessments using checklist and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspections.<br \/>\nEstablishes and maintains cooperative and effective working relationships with others.<br \/>\nkey personal traits<br \/>\nReliable and self-motivated \u2013 Shows up on time, takes initiative, and works independently.<br \/>\nDetail-oriented and organized \u2013 Pays attention to accuracy and manages tasks efficiently.<br \/>\nStrong communicator and team player \u2013 Collaborates well and communicates clearly with others.<br \/>\nAdaptable and solution-focused \u2013 Handles change positively and solves problems proactively.<br \/>\nEager to learn and grow \u2013 Open to feedback, constantly improving, and passionate about development<br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications &amp; Experience:<br \/>\nAutomotive Mechanics Craft certificate or better.<br \/>\nMust be fully registered with EIZ with an active subscription<br \/>\nValid Zambian (RTSA) issued Driver\u2019s License held for 2 or more years.<br \/>\n3 Years of Automotive experience in the trade which may include an apprenticeship and\/or applicable vocational training or any equivalent combination of training and experience.<br \/>\nExperience in Automotive Equipment, Maintenance and Repair.<br \/>\nExperience working in an FMCG Industry is an added advantage<br \/>\nThis is a full-time position, and the successful candidate must be available to work weekdays and weekends including rotational shifts.<br \/>\nIf this is YOU, Yalelo wants to hear from you today!!!<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
