Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Receives daily works schedules in form of works orders or defects dockets on mechanical works to be done during the day\/week.
\nInterprets engineering mechanical drawings in order to come up with materials, tools and number of employees to execute the works.
\nDiagnoses the nature of mechanical component defects by carrying out a root cause analysis and determining the required parts and materials for repairs.
\nReports work progress and completed tasks to the supervisor in order for the works to be evaluated and certified.
\nComplies with all safety rules and procedures in order to mitigate and eliminate injuries at work place.
\nEnsure that mechanical fitting tasks are completed on time by planning, organizing, and executing daily tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality.
\nDeliver high-quality mechanical installations and repairs by adhering to technical specifications, paying attention to detail, and conducting thorough inspections to prevent errors or rework.
\nDiagnosis\/Fault Finding of malfunctioning mechanical equipment and components
\nRoutine maintenance and safety related parts of machinery checks
\nStrictly follow safety policies and procedures, use proper protective equipment, and ensure a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
\nMinimize machinery downtime by conducting proactive maintenance and quick repairs, ensuring equipment operates efficiently to avoid production delays.
\nPerform preventive maintenance as scheduled to keep equipment in optimal condition, addressing potential issues before they cause downtime.
\nUse tools, materials, and parts efficiently, minimizing waste and ensuring proper maintenance and organization to support smooth operations.
\nQuickly and accurately identify and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, aiming to reduce the time spent on diagnostics while ensuring high-quality repairs.
\nRegularly inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition, preventing tool failures and minimizing downtime.
\nComplete tasks as specified in work orders, interpreting them accurately and meeting deadlines while adhering to company standards.<\/p>\n
Requirements and skills<\/p>\n
Grade 12 with five (5) \u201cO\u201d Levels
\nDiploma\/Degree in Mechanical engineering or related field
\nAnalytical skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
\n2 years and above working experience<\/p>\n
