CASHIER (X2)
\nJob summary:
\nThe Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing sales transactions at the cash register. This role involves handling cash, credit\/debit transactions, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.
\nDuties\/Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Greet customers warmly and assist with purchases
\nOperate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment
\nProcess cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
\nProcess cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
\nIssue receipts, refunds, and change as needed
\nBalance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
\nAnswer customer questions and provide assistance in locating items
\nFollow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
\nInform customers about promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers<\/p>\n
Required Skills and qualifications<\/p>\n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
\nStrong attention to detail
\n2 years of experience as a Cashier
\nEnthusiasm for working within a team environment
\nTact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily<\/p>\n
Preferred qualifications<\/p>\n
Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Accounting or equivalent
\nBasic math and computer skills<\/p>\n
