\nMukonde General Hospital is a newly established, modern 120-bed healthcare facility based in Mulwaninyana, Southern Province. We are committed to delivering exceptional medical care with specializations in cardiology, surgery, radiology, oncology, orthopedics, maternity, and neonatology. As we prepare to launch our services, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the recruitment and HR systems development for our hospital.
\nPosition Summary:
\nWe are hiring a dynamic Human Resources Manager who will play a central role in building our hospital team from the ground up. The successful candidate will design and implement HR strategies, lead mass recruitment efforts, and ensure our staff is aligned with the hospital\u2019s mission of excellence, compassion, and professionalism.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Design and execute end-to-end recruitment plans for all hospital departments.
\nEstablish HR policies, procedures, and compliance systems in line with Zambian labor laws and health sector standards.
\nLead onboarding, orientation, and staff welfare programs.
\nOversee payroll, benefits, leave management, and employee records.
\nProvide leadership and guidance to management on HR best practices and staff development.
\nFoster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree or professional certification is a plus).
\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in HR management, preferably in a healthcare or large institutional setting.
\nProven experience in recruitment and organizational development.
\nStrong knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
