This role involves delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students in their academic and professional development, and contributing to the growth of the department and the university.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nTeaching and Learning:<br \/>\nDeliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practicals for undergraduate and\/or postgraduate courses in Business Administration.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.<br \/>\nPrepare and deliver course materials, including syllabi, handouts, and assessments.<br \/>\nProvide guidance and supervision to students on coursework, projects, and research.<br \/>\nConduct and facilitate assessments in accordance with university guidelines.<br \/>\nResearch and Academic Development:<br \/>\nConduct original research and contribute to the development of knowledge in Business Administration.<br \/>\nPublish research in reputable academic journals and present at academic conferences.<br \/>\nParticipate in collaborative research with faculty, staff, and external partners.<br \/>\nContribute to curriculum development and program review processes within the department.<br \/>\nEngage in academic staff development programs to enhance teaching and research capabilities.<br \/>\nStudent Support and Engagement:<br \/>\nProvide academic advice and support to students, including guidance on career opportunities and professional development.<br \/>\nAssist in student mentorship and advising, helping them to achieve academic success.<br \/>\nParticipate in departmental meetings, committees, and university events.<br \/>\nAdministration and Service:<br \/>\nAssist in the administration of examinations and assessments, ensuring that university policies and regulations are followed.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and feedback.<br \/>\nContribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices within the department.<br \/>\nParticipate in academic governance and decision-making processes within the department.<br \/>\nRequired Qualifications:<br \/>\nA Bachelors in Business Administration is a must, and Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration or any other business discipline will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nAt least 1 year of teaching experience in higher education, preferably in Business Administration or related areas.<br \/>\nA strong record of research or the potential to develop a robust research portfolio.<br \/>\nKnowledge of contemporary issues in business and management, with the ability to engage students in practical and theoretical discussions.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with university-level teaching and assessment methods.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.<br \/>\nDesirable Skills:<br \/>\nAbility to use innovative teaching technologies and platforms.<br \/>\nExperience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students on research projects.<br \/>\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
