Introductory trades training is also incorporated each term, utilizing the skills of teachers, board members, caretakers, and community members. The organization seeks to recruit suitably qualified, experienced, and competent individuals who will demonstrate commitment to the organization\u2019s mission, vision, and values to be based in Kafue for the position below:<br \/>\nJob Title: Child Safeguarding and Sponsorship Officer<br \/>\nJob Summary:<br \/>\nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Safeguarding and Sponsorship Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of children, managing sponsorship programs, and fostering relationships between sponsored children and their sponsors.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u2013 Engage families and communities in children\u2019s well-being<br \/>\n\u2013 Identify and recruit vulnerable children for sponsorship programs<br \/>\n\u2013 Conduct home visits, family counseling, and support<br \/>\n\u2013 Manage data and records efficiently<br \/>\n\u2013 Collaborate with social welfare on child abuse investigations<br \/>\n\u2013 Foster relationships between sponsored children and sponsors<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCompetencies:<br \/>\n\u2013 Attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2013 Effective teamwork and independence<br \/>\n\u2013 Excellent communication and listening skills<br \/>\n\u2013 Adaptability, strategic thinking, and strong management skills<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRequirements:<br \/>\n\u2013 Full Grade 12 Certificate<br \/>\n\u2013 Degree in Social Sciences or related fields<br \/>\n\u2013 2+ years of work experience<br \/>\n\u2013 Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills<br \/>\n\u2013 Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other computer skills<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
