\nJob Overview
\nManaging the machine shop to achieve Trade Kings Group plant maintenance self-sustainability in terms of taking corrective measures to keep the production running.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Implementation of best workshop practice;
\nProvide specialist technical advice and support with regards to Machine shop manufacturing process;
\nManage running and planning of Machine shop activities in line with HSE requirements;
\nDevelop and manage tool room Standard Operating Procedure (SOP);
\nMaximize the use of all resources, including human resources;
\nPlan and implement workshop preventive maintenance;
\nManage tools inventory, and quality control;
\nManage job records through ERP and filing;
\nProvide technical expertise to the team to build capacity;
\nMonitor completion of tasks and ensure good performance and good record keeping in ERP;
\nBudget preparation for implementation and monitoring;
\nPerform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements \u2013 Education, Experience and Skills<\/p>\n
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
\nFive (5) years minimum experience in Machine shop management;
\nExcellent leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
\nExcellent organizational and follow-up skills;
\nCompetent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making;
\nExcellent technical drawing skills;
\nComputer literate.<\/p>\n
