\nPosition: Primary School Teacher
\nThe Primary School Teacher will be responsible for delivering high quality education at the Primary school and modelling the teaching, in conformity with the expected standards. \u00a0This role requires the teacher to effectively plan, teach, assess and give feedback in accordance with the 2023 Zambian Education Curriculum Framework.
\nFurthermore, the teacher will contribute to the development of co-curricular activities, fostering a spirit of exploration and innovation among learners.
\nThrough collaboration with colleagues across both primary and secondary levels, the teacher will help maintain curriculum continuity and uphold high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Prepare schemes and lessons
\nWrite records of work.
\nFacilitate learning activities in school and complete the syllabus in time.
\nLiaise with the Senior Teacher and fellow teachers on work schedule.
\nMake review and projection of the term.
\nPromote Extra Curriculum Activities (ECA) programs in school.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 certificate with 5 O\u2019 levels Credit or better.
\nDiploma in Primary Education from a reputable institution. Degree will be an added advantage.
\nSolid understanding of classroom activities and teaching methodologies.
\nMust be familiar with the Competence Based Curriculum
\nRegistered with the Teaching Council of Zambia.
\nMust be computer literate.
\nA minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
