The Board of Mwense Trades Training Institute (MwTTI) under the Ministry of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, situated in Mwense in Luapula Province, is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions.
\n(1) LECTURER \u2013 AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING (1)
\nJOB PURPOSE
\nTo undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students.
\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical learning of high standards<\/p>\n
Maintaining a teaching file<\/p>\n
Assess students by administering assignments and tests<\/p>\n
Maintain students\u2019 performance records<\/p>\n
Maintain order and discipline among students<\/p>\n
Participate in designing, marketing and implementation of viable programmes and projects<\/p>\n
Coordinate with other staff in ensuring institute objectives are achieved<\/p>\n
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects<\/p>\n
Advanced Certificate\/ Diploma in Automotive Mechanics<\/p>\n
Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)<\/p>\n
Certificate in Teaching methodology<\/p>\n
TEVETA accredited trainer is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Two (2) years Teaching\/practical experience preferably in a TEVET Institution<\/p>\n
Good facilitation and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
2.0 LECTURER \u2013 ENGINEERING DRAWING (1)
\nJOB PURPOSE
\nTo undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students.
