\nDURATION: 6 MONTHS
\nORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND:
\nThe Civil Society for Poverty Reduction is Zambia\u2019s largest anti-poverty network, established in 2000 to primarily to enhance the participation of local citizens in the development of the poverty reduction strategy papers (PRSPs). Over the years, the network has expanded its scope and continues to build the voices of the poor in the fight against poverty. Its objective is to ensure that it effectively and meaningfully participates in the design, formulation, and implementation and monitoring of Zambia\u2019s national development plans (NDPs). CSPR envisions a Zambia where its entire people enjoy all basic needs. The organization\u2019s mission is to actively contribute to poverty reduction and pro-poor development in Zambia. The organization embraces values of integrity, mutual respect, reliability, respect for human rights and is non-partisan.
\nINFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION:
\nThe Drivers role is designed to support CSPR\u2019s administrative unit in personnel management and system administration at the provincial level, as to support the Safety and transport members of staffs, goods, or equipment, maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
\nCSPR seeks to recruit a dynamic and suitably qualified individual to fill this position on a short-term basis of 3 -6 months.
\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
\nThis role is part of the administrative unit of CSPR and works to support the delivery of goods and services of the organization.
\nThe role reports to the Finance and Administrative Manager who is the Overall
\nKEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Safely transport members of staff, goods, or equipment.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manage logistics, routes, and schedules.
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure timely arrival and departure
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use of Logbooks and Mileage
\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
Valid driver\u2019s license.
\nExperience in driving for 5years or more.
\nKnowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
\nGood communication and time management skills.
\nAbility to handle emergency situations.<\/p>\n
