This role demands a strategic leader with expertise in oil extraction, feed production, and mealie meal processing, coupled with an unwavering commitment to safety.<br \/>\nKEY RESPOSIBLITIES<br \/>\nManage and optimize production schedules for oil, feed, and mealie meal to meet targets.<br \/>\nEnsure efficient resource utilization (raw materials, equipment, labor) while minimizing costs.<br \/>\nLead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational excellence.<br \/>\nImplement rigorous quality control measures to uphold product standards and compliance.<br \/>\nCollaborate cross-functionally (procurement, logistics, maintenance) for seamless operations.<br \/>\nSafety First: \u2013 Develop, enforce, and monitor safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident workplace.<br \/>\nAnalyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.<br \/>\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and sustainability.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of inventory, output, and operational costs.<br \/>\nREQUIRED QUALIFACTION<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.<br \/>\n5+ years\u2019 experience in production management, preferably in food processing or FMCG.<br \/>\nProven expertise in oil extraction, feed, and mealie meal production processes.<br \/>\nStrong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.<br \/>\nExperience in quality assurance and familiarity with ERP\/production software.<br \/>\nNon-negotiable: \u2013 Demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining safety programs.<br \/>\nAnalytical mindset with problem-solving prowess.<br \/>\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
