\nWe are a dynamic manufacturing and distribution company supplying products to our own outlets and major retail chains such as Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Choppies, and Cheers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our logistics team. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in supply chain operations.

\nResponsibilities and Duties:<\/p>\n
Daily Invoicing: Generate and file delivery invoices in coordination with the sales and dispatch team.
\nProof of Delivery (POD) Tracking: Monitor, verify, and file PODs daily to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
\nRoute Planning: Assist in creating efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
\nVehicle Maintenance Reports: Compile and update vehicle maintenance logs and service reminders.
\nStock Coordination: Support warehouse staff in preparing stock for dispatch and verifying invoice documentation.
\nDelivery Documentation: Assist in preparing and organizing delivery notes, receipts, and trip logs.
\nFuel Consumption Monitoring: Record fuel usage per trip and reconcile with trip distances.
\nCustomer Support: Follow up with clients on deliveries and document feedback.
\nData Entry & Filing: Maintain up-to-date electronic and physical filing systems for logistics operations.
\nAdministrative Support: Assist the logistics manager with clerical tasks, reporting, and internal communication.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Diploma or higher in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
\nStrong interest in logistics and transport operations.
\nGood organizational and time management skills
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
\nBasic understanding of route planning and invoice delivery documentation
\nStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn
\nTeam player with good communication skills<\/p>\n
