Job Summary
\nWe are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Pharmacy Cashier to join our retail store operations. You will be responsible for greeting customers when they arrive, answering questions they may have, and completing their transactions efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing the company phone and responding to any customer queries on call or WhatsApp with the help of the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technologist.
\nWhen the pharmacy is not busy, you will be responsible for restocking of shelves with the supervision of the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technologist, creating merchandise displays, and taking inventory as well as ensuring the Pharmacy is clean and tidy. Your primary goal is to provide excellent customer service to all of our customers.
\nPharmacy Cashier Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Responsible to open and Close Pharmacy on time.
\nEnsure the Pharmacy is clean.
\nGreet customers when they arrive
\nComplete their purchase transactions quickly and efficiently
\nRestock and Price items on the shelves
\nTake inventory of store merchandise
\nTake part in monthly stock take
\nBuild merchandise displays
\nHang sale signs and decorations when necessary
\nWeekly Banking of Sales and maintaining adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and get additional change.
\nAnswer customer questions about products or services
\nManagement and reconciliation of Petty Cash
\nReconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
\nReport issues with equipment
\nWork as a team to meet store sales goals
\nAssist Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technologist with any other duties pertaining to the Pharmacy.
\nSubmit weekly management reports<\/p>\n
Pharmacy Cashier Requirements and Qualifications<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 Certificate with a pass in mathematics
\nMinimum of Diploma in a sales related field
\nAt least one years work experience as a Retail Cashier or similar role in sales (Pharmacy Cashier is an added advantage)
\nFriendly demeanour
\nBasic PC Knowledge (Computer skills)
\nGood at Math skills
\nFamiliarity with electronic equipment such and POS systems
\nCustomer Satisfaction oriented
\nExcellent communication and time management skills
\nAble to work long hours\/Shifts as it is a twenty 24hr store
\nFlexible schedule<\/p>\n
