He or She will always ensure that the finance activities are aligned to support the pursuit of Zed-Fin\u2019s mission with minimum risk and maximum efficiency.<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance and reporting;<br \/>\n\u2022 Function as the lead contact with the external auditors, facilitating the yearly audit process with a proactive approach;<br \/>\n\u2022 Be responsible for the statutory and regulatory reporting process;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the reliability of the financial reporting (external reporting);<br \/>\n\u2022 Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement;<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives;<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for Executive Management team, and rest of company;<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities.<br \/>\nRequired skills and qualifications<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be an Associate or Fellow of ZICA and in good standing with ZICA;<br \/>\n\u2022 Professional certification such as, ACCA, CIMA or CA Zambia;<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance, or a related field;<br \/>\n\u2022 2+ years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in the financial services sector;<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, board members and stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly;<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity;<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding of IFRSs, regulatory issues, and tax planning;<br \/>\n\u2022 Autonomous and hard-working person driven by rigor and intellectual curiosity and an analytical and methodical mind-set with keen attention to detail;<br \/>\n\u2022 A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to ethical standards, corporate governance and continuous improvement.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
