About the Role:
\nWe are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and tech-savvy individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our newly built, modern, and fully furnished apartments in Chalala. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality and has experience with online booking platforms and customer service.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n1. Booking & Guest Management<\/p>\n
Manage apartment listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, and other short-term rental platforms
\nRespond promptly to guest inquiries and booking requests
\nCoordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, welcome guests on arrival, and provide a brief tour of the apartment
\nHandle guest complaints or special requests professionally and efficiently<\/p>\n
2. Operations & Supervision<\/p>\n
Supervise housekeeping and gardening staff to ensure apartments are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests
\nMaintain cleaning schedules and ensure timely turnaround of apartments
\nMonitor inventory levels (toiletries, linens, etc.) and request supplies as needed
\nConduct regular inspections of the apartments and property<\/p>\n
3. Sales & Marketing<\/p>\n
Promote the apartments on social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok) to increase visibility and bookings
\nCreate engaging content (photos\/videos) to showcase the property
\nImplement promotions, offers, or collaborations to attract new guests
\nIdentify additional online and offline sales channels<\/p>\n
4. Administration & Reporting<\/p>\n
Maintain a booking calendar and generate weekly reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback
\nKeep records of expenses and coordinate with management on budgets and pricing
\nMake recommendations for improvements to enhance the guest experience<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Proven experience in hospitality, front desk\/reception, or Airbnb\/short-term rentals
\nFamiliarity with Airbnb, Booking.com, and other booking platforms is a must
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\nTech-savvy \u2013 able to use smartphones, booking apps, and social media effectively
\nHighly organized, proactive, and customer-focused
\nMust be fluent in English; knowledge of other local languages is a plus
\nMust be based in or able to travel easily to Chalala<\/p>\n
Working Hours & Compensation:<\/p>\n
Flexibility required depending on guest check-in\/check-out times
\nCompensation to be discussed based on experience; may include a base salary + performance-based incentives<\/p>\n
