\nROLE DESCRIPTION
\nThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Indian Cuisine Chef located in Lusaka. The Indian Cuisine Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to restaurant standards. Daily tasks include managing kitchen operations, creating menu items, maintaining hygiene standards, ordering and managing inventory, and training junior kitchen staff. The chef will also liaise with restaurant management on dish offerings and implement quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction.
\nQUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
Proven experience as an Indian Che
\nIn-depth knowledge of traditional and contemporary Indian cooking techniques
\nExpertise in Indian cuisine cooking techniques and recipes
\nExperience in kitchen management and staff training
\nSkills in menu creation and food presentation
\nUnderstanding of food hygiene and safety standards
\nCreative flair
\nAbility to manage inventory and order supplies
\nStrong organizational and time-management skills
\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
\nCulinary certification or relevant experience in a professional kitchen
\nPrevious experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel is advantageous
\nMust be Zambian<\/p>\n
