Lochey Industrial and Management Training Institute is a fast-growing vocational and technical training institution committed to equipping learners with practical skills for the 21st-century job market. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Computer Trainer to join our team in Kalumbila district.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Deliver hands-on training in computer short courses, focusing on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
\nPrepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools.
\nMonitor student progress and provide feedback.
\nMaintain records of student attendance and performance.
\nEnsure all training is aligned with TEVETA standards and industry best practices.
\nProvide basic support and guidance to students on computer-related issues.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Must be a Zambian citizen, aged between 20 and 40 years.
\nMinimum Diploma in ICT, IMIS, or any equivalent qualification in
\nInformation Technology or Computer Science.
\nAt least 2 years of experience as a Computer Trainer or ICT Instructor.
\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
\nStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
\nAbility to work independently and manage a classroom environment effectively.<\/p>\n
Added Advantage:<\/p>\n
Experience working in a vocational training institution.
\nKnowledge of online training tools and basic computer troubleshooting.
\nTEVETA registration or certification as a trainer.<\/p>\n
