We are hiring a Seasoned Senior Accountant\u00a0to spearhead all financial functions for our Zambian operations, effectively acting as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)\u00a0for the branch.<br \/>\nThis is not an entry-level or mid-tier accounting job. We are looking for an elite professional\u2014someone with a proven track record of managing full-spectrum finance in Zambia, with the credibility and insight to provide financial leadership, ensure compliance, and drive fiscal growth.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nServe as the finance lead\u00a0for the Zambian office, reporting directly to global leadership.<br \/>\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, compliant with ZRA regulations,\u00a0and company policy.<br \/>\nManage all aspects of tax compliance\u00a0(VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and liaise directly with ZRA\u00a0and statutory bodies.<br \/>\nOversee full-cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable\/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.<br \/>\nHigh level proficiency in payroll accounting is a must.<br \/>\nLead the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes for the Zambia business unit.<br \/>\nDevelop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.<br \/>\nEngage auditors and consultants, and manage all aspects of annual audits and compliance reviews.<br \/>\nProvide strategic financial insight to support executive decision-making and business development in Zambia.<br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications &amp; Experience:<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s Degree\u00a0in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\u2019s Degree or MBA is a plus).<br \/>\nFull professional certification: ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA (membership in good standing is a must).<br \/>\nMinimum 5 years\u00a0of senior-level accounting experience in Zambia, preferably in multinational or multi-branch settings.<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience leading finance operations independently\u2014CFO, Finance Manager, or Senior Accountant level.<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of Zambian tax laws, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\nProficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or SAP) and strong Excel skills.<br \/>\nHigh integrity, excellent leadership, and the ability to work under minimal supervision<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
