You will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting day-to-day accounting functions. This is a hands-on internship where you will gain real-world experience and develop critical accounting and finance skills.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n-Assist with data entry and daily bookkeeping into the accounting system or excel<br \/>\n-Help reconcile bank statements and mobile money transactions (e.g., Airtel Money, MTN MoMo)<br \/>\n-Support in preparing and sending out customer invoices<br \/>\n-Follow up on outstanding payments and update debtor records<br \/>\n-Assist in compiling monthly expense reports<br \/>\n-Support with petty cash management and replenishment processes<br \/>\n-Help organize supporting documents for payments and journals<br \/>\n-Prepare and maintain voucher files (hard copy and soft copy)<br \/>\n-Assist during external and internal audits with document collation<br \/>\n-Ensure all financial files and records are accurately archived<br \/>\n-Support with inventory verification and controls, if required<br \/>\n-Any other finance and admin tasks as assigned<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Skills<br \/>\nFinal-year student or recent graduate in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, etc<br \/>\nBasic knowledge of accounting principles (double entry, journals, ledgers)<br \/>\nProficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to any accounting software is a plus (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)<br \/>\nStrong analytical and numerical skills<br \/>\nHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detail<br \/>\nIntegrity, trustworthiness, and ability to handle confidential information<br \/>\nWillingness to learn, be coached, and take initiative<br \/>\nGood written and verbal communication skills<br \/>\nWhat You Will Gain<br \/>\nPractical training in core accounting systems and procedures<br \/>\nExposure to real business operations and financial reporting<br \/>\nMentorship from senior finance professionals<br \/>\nA recommendation letter\u00a0 upon successful completion<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
