\nJob Description
\nThe Digital Communications Intern will support the Brand & Communications team in executing the Thrive Africa Network\u2019s digital strategy. This role is ideal for a final-year (or recent graduate) Mass Communication or Public Relations student with strong graphic design skills and an interest in development communication, digital storytelling, and African narratives.
\nThe intern will be responsible for assisting in content creation, digital design, social media management, and analytics tracking to ensure the organization maintains a consistent, engaging, and visually compelling online presence.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Design branded graphics, infographics, and visual content for social media, website, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
\nDraft and edit content for social media, blogs, press releases, and email campaigns.
\nSchedule and manage posts across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter\/X, Facebook).
\nAssist in formatting and updating website content, ensuring visual and editorial consistency.
\nSupport internal and external communication campaigns with design and digital media assets.
\nMonitor digital engagement analytics and compile monthly performance reports.
\nParticipate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy development.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n
Final-year student or recent graduate in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or related field.
\nProficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar.
\nBasic understanding of social media platforms and digital communication best practices.
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
