NTBC is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from various sectors and industry. The Centre\u2019s main objective is to ensure the promotion, marketing, and transfer of proven and sustainable technologies to entrepreneurs in order to maximize their utilisation and contribute to sustainable national industrial development.<br \/>\nThe NTBC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Zambian Citizens to fill up \u00a0the following Position:<br \/>\nTECHNOLOGY TRANSFER SPECIALIST<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE: To supervise and undertake the transfer of developed and proven technologies in order to ensure their adoption and utilisation by Industry.<br \/>\nNATURE OF EMPLOYMENT<br \/>\nPermanent and Pensionable<br \/>\nSUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\ni.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supervises and undertakes effectively the identification, evaluation, adaptation and piloting of innovations in order to facilitate commercialisation of technologies.<br \/>\nii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supervises and undertakes effectively advisory services for product development for home grown innovations in order to contribute to industrial development.<br \/>\niii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Supervises and undertakes effectively the maintenance of a database of available technologies in order to improve access to information.<br \/>\niv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Supervises effectively the development of work plans and implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.<br \/>\nv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supervises effectively human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives.<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT<br \/>\nI.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Full Form V\/Grade 12 School Certificate<br \/>\nII.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Technology based Science or its equivalent<br \/>\nIII.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience of 6 Years<br \/>\nIV.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a Member of a Technology based professional body<br \/>\nV.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Qualifications under (i) and (ii)\u00a0 must be\u00a0 verified by Zambia Qualifications Authority and verification\/evaluation certificates submitted together with the application.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
