The Farm Supervisor is responsible for supervising farm hands; therefore leadership skills are highly beneficial.<br \/>\nMain Duties and Tasks:<br \/>\nRecruit, train and supervise farm workers \u2013 coordinate and direct their activities<br \/>\nSupervise a wide range of farm operations including cultivation, sowing, spraying and harvesting<br \/>\nEnsures deadlines are met for activities such as seeding and harvesting<br \/>\nConfers with managers to coordinate activites with other farm units<br \/>\nMonitoring staff rosters, hours, performance and resolving any grievances<br \/>\nOrganises transportation for livestock and crops<br \/>\nOversees the work of farming units and suggests improvements and changes<br \/>\nInspect farm buildings and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary<br \/>\nInstallation, maintenance and regular monitoring of irrigation system<br \/>\nEnsure and enforce compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards<br \/>\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\nDiploma or Certificate in General Agriculture with minimum 3 years hands on work experience.<br \/>\nAbility to work well with others<br \/>\nAbility to follow directives and complete tasks assigned with the required time frame<br \/>\nPositive work attitude and focus on the success business<br \/>\nStrong work ethics<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
