The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee wages and benefits in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves compliance with payroll regulations, tax filings, and client communication to ensure seamless payroll operations.<br \/>\nReporting Structure<br \/>\nReporting To: Outsourcing Manager<br \/>\nSupervision Of: Payroll \/ Administrative Clerk<br \/>\nInteracts With: Clients, Government Institutions, Employees<br \/>\nJob Description<br \/>\nEnsure all payrolls are always delivered on time and with 100% accuracy in an organised and structured manner<br \/>\nHandle payroll for temporary, contract, and permanent employees placed at client sites.<br \/>\nPrepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and payroll related reporting e.g., expense claims, overtime, leave balances, head count, analytical review and month end reports.<br \/>\nProcess all payroll related transactions including overtime payments, advances, deductions, loans, allowances and leave.<br \/>\nImprove systems and processes where required to ensure a seamless flow between HR, Payroll and Finance<br \/>\nEnsure all payroll policies and procedures are up to date and write any new procedures as required<br \/>\nUpdate all employee registers including insurance policies i.e. medical, funeral at the end of the month.<br \/>\nManage all payroll correspondence and act as a point of contact for all escalated payroll queries<br \/>\nBuild strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and statutory compliance<br \/>\nResolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related queries promptly<br \/>\nProvide payroll reports and analytics to clients upon request.<br \/>\nStay updated on changing payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.<br \/>\nAssist with payroll audits and compliance reviews.<br \/>\nCandidate Specification<br \/>\nStarting: 1 July<br \/>\nExperience: 3 years plus<br \/>\nEducation Level: Degree<br \/>\nQualifications: Degree in Accountancy and\/or ACCA\/ CIMA Level 2<br \/>\nSoftware: Payroll \/ HRIS Software Systems<br \/>\nEquipment: Computers<br \/>\nKnowledge Of: Payroll processes preferably in staffing\/recruitment agencies or outsourcing<br \/>\nSkills To: Analytical, accounting, reporting skills, attention to detail<br \/>\nAbility To: Converse with all stakeholders, resolve queries and provide timely service<br \/>\nOther Requirements: Planning, organisational skills and being deadline oriented<br \/>\nOrganisation<br \/>\nIndustry: Human Resources Consultancy<br \/>\nCulture: Dynamic, Vibrant<br \/>\nGender Profile: Mixed<br \/>\nAge Profile: Between 30 and 55<br \/>\nTerms and Conditions<br \/>\nEmployment: Permanent<br \/>\nLocation: Lusaka, Zambia<br \/>\nRemuneration: Negotiable<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
