The Role: Shift Operations Supervisor
\nCORE PURPOSE OF JOB
\nTo support the Cinema Manager in the profitable and effective operation of the cinema. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed correctly relating to operations, stock and marketing. Ensure that customers are consistently provided with the highest standard of service. This position is also a key holder position and responsible for opening and closing of the site as per a shift roster.
\nWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to lead our front-of-house operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing shift daily operations, managing staff, and upholding our brand standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Oversee the daily shift operations of the cinema, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
\nLead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver high levels of customer service.
\nManage customer relations, and customer feedback professionally and efficiently.
\nEnforce compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
\nWork collaboratively with cashiers and Cinema assistant teams to maintain service quality and consistency.
\nManage set sales targets, and drive performance improvements.<\/p>\n
Experience & Education:<\/p>\n
A minimum of 2-5 years\u2019 experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role, ideally in a high-volume or upscale QSR setting.
\nDemonstrated success in team leadership, operational management, and customer service excellence.
\nA diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, IT or a related field is strongly preferred.
\nRelevant certifications in food safety, first aid, or responsible alcohol service are advantageous.
\nPreferably a lady<\/p>\n

\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with staff and customers.
\nOrganised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
\nFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
\nA positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of the business<\/p>\n
Willing to work long hours including weekends and Public Holidays
\nKnowledge of the movie industry and a passion for film will be beneficial.
\nNote that candidates staying in surrounding areas of Arcades and East Park Mall are encourage.
\nOwn transport is an added advantage.
