\nAbout the Role
\nWe are looking for a Research Intern to support our core work, research design, data collection and analysis, and proposal development. You will work closely with a small, agile team and get exposure to real-world projects in policy research, program evaluation, and strategic advisory.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Support desk research and literature reviews on thematic focus areas (e.g., youth employment, health, education, entrepreneurship)
\nAssist in the design and execution of data collection tools (surveys, interviews, focus groups)
\nClean, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
\nDraft short reports, briefing notes, and data summaries
\nHelp write proposals and concept notes for funding opportunities and partnerships
\nContribute to research and pipeline tracking
\nSupport development of infographics and slide decks for presentations
\nParticipate in brainstorming and strategy sessions as part of a small team
\nPerform administrative or support tasks related to projects, as needed<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Final-year student or recent graduate in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Data Science, or related fields
\nSolid research and writing skills, with attention to clarity and structure
\nComfortable with Excel\/Google Sheets; familiarity with a data analysis tool (SPSS, R, Python, or STATA) is a plus
\nBasic understanding of the proposal development process
\nCurious, analytical, and self-motivated
\nInterest in policy, research, and working in an early-stage, impact-driven organisation<\/p>\n
