Amatheon is committed to acting in a socially responsible manner and reflecting sound environmental management practices in all its operations.<br \/>\nMechanic (01)<br \/>\nJOB OVERVIEW:<br \/>\nIn this position, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing all machinery and vehicles. Your duties will include monitoring inventory, inspecting vehicles, and assembling machinery.<br \/>\nREPORTING TO:<br \/>\nWorkshop Supervisor<br \/>\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nConduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles.<br \/>\nInteract with other departments to better understand their concerns and identify issues.<br \/>\nAssemble mechanical components according to specifications.<br \/>\nExamine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.<br \/>\nDevelop a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.<br \/>\nMaintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.<br \/>\nMonitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.<br \/>\nProvide consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.<br \/>\nPerform vehicle assessments and advise clients on issues that may prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.<br \/>\nREQUIRED SKILLS\/ABILITIES<br \/>\nFull Grade 12 Certificate<br \/>\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience<br \/>\nQualified Mechanic<br \/>\nSound knowledge of workshop procedures<br \/>\nExcellent diagnostic skills<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively within a team<br \/>\nAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and integrity<br \/>\nExperience in agricultural machinery maintenance will be an added advantage<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
