RETAIL TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (CHILANGA)
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the fish feed products, including their nutritional benefits, usage, and application.
\nAssist customers in selecting the right products for their specific needs, considering species, growth stages, and environmental conditions.
\nConducting training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding of the technical aspects of fish feeding.
\nCoordinating sales to achieve set objectives.
\nDiagnose and resolve issues related to feed performance, such as growth rates, feed conversion ratios (FCR), and fish health concerns.
\nIdentify potential new customers and markets and support the sales team in expanding the customer base.
\nConduct regular on-site visits to build strong relationships with customers and understand their operational challenges.
\nWork closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer outreach programs.
\nMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities and threats.
\nPrepare detailed reports on customer feedback, sales performance, and market conditions for senior management.
\nVisit fish farms and other customer sites to provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot issues related to feed usage, fish health, and water quality.
\nAct as the first point of contact for customer complaints or concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES:<\/p>\n
Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE)
\nBachelor\u2019s degree preferably in Aquaculture. Advanced knowledge in fish nutrition is a plus.
\nMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales role within the aquaculture or related industries.
\nEffective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical inquiries.
\nStrong understanding of fish nutrition, feed composition, and aquaculture practices.
\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
\nStrong analytical skills to diagnose problems and recommend effective solutions to customers
\nProven track record of achieving sales targets and providing technical support.<\/p>\n
