1. Job Title: Management Accountant
\nLocation: Head Office \u2013 Lusaka, Zambia
\nReports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
\nEmployment Type: Full-Time
\nJob Purpose:
\nThe Management Accountant will play a strategic role in providing financial leadership and oversight to support the company\u2019s growth objectives. This position is responsible for budget management, financial analysis, cost control, and reporting to guide decision-making.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
\nAnalyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
\nLead the budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization.
\nOversee cost control, variance analysis, and performance measurement.
\nDevelop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
\nEnsure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax obligations.
\nLiaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
\nProvide financial support to business units in evaluating new projects and investments.
\nSupervise and mentor junior finance team members to build capacity and performance.
\nCollaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with operational goals.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
\nFull professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA.
\nMust hold a valid ZICA Practicing License.
\nMinimum of 5 years experience in a managerial finance role, preferably in financial services.
\nProficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
\nExcellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
\nHigh level of integrity and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
