Overview:
\nWe are looking for a trustworthy and customer-oriented Cashier to operate at our booth in Nkana East, Kitwe. The Cashier will be responsible for handling sales transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring excellent service to all customers. This position requires attention to detail, integrity, and good interpersonal skills.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Welcome customers and assist them in making withdraws\/deposits.
\nProcess payments accurately using FNB Cash plus, Zanaco express, Indo fast serve, Zoona, \u00a0MNO\u2019s (e.g., Airtel, MTN, Zamtel Money), or POS machines.
\nProvide correct change and issue receipts for all transactions.
\nRecord daily sales and reconcile cash at the end of day.
\nMaintain a clean and organized booth space.
\nStock booth with products and report any shortages or damages.
\nEnsure product prices are clearly displayed and correct.
\nResolve customer queries and escalate issues to the supervisor if needed.
\nAdhere to company policies and procedures, especially those related to cash handling and customer service.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 School Certificate (minimum requirement).
\nExperience, atleast 6 months \u2013 1 year of experience in cashiering, sales, or retail is an added advantage.
\nBasic math and cash-handling skills.
\nFamiliarity with POS systems and mobile money platforms.
\nBasic record-keeping and reporting skills.<\/p>\n
