\nPosition Summary:
\nWe are seeking a proactive, professional, and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our HR team. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters at assigned MBHS clinics.
\nAs the HR Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting staff and management, ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and fostering a culture of professionalism, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
\nRequirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related social science.
\nRegistered member of the Zambian Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing license.
\n3\u20134 years of proven experience in a similar role.
\nPrevious HR experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be an added advantage.
\nStrong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices.
\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
\nHigh level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
\nStrong organizational and time management skills.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Sheets.
\nAbility to maintain high levels of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Serve as the on-site point of contact for all human resource matters.
\nProvide guidance and Human Resource advisory services to staff and management on HR policies, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
\nDraft and administer employment contracts and offer letters.
\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
\nSupport the recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
\nMonitor staff appraisals, absenteeism, and leave schedules.
\nAssist in compiling HR reports, maintaining benefit programs, and managing staff files.
\nLiaise with the Senior HR Officer on disciplinary issues, staff terminations, and performance matters.
\nProvide accurate payroll data and ensure compliance with employment laws.
\nUphold the confidentiality and integrity of all HR information and processes.
\nProvide excellent customer service to all MBHS staff and clients.<\/p>\n
