Are you a creative digital strategist with a passion for food, culture, and live events? The Flavours Festival 2025 team is looking for an experienced Social Media & Content Manager to lead our online storytelling, drive community engagement, and ensure our digital presence is as flavourful as our festival.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and execute a multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn)
\nCreate and curate engaging, on-brand content including video snippets, behind-the-scenes moments, chef features, and sponsor highlights
\nCoordinate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and media partners to ensure timely content delivery
\nManage the festival\u2019s social media calendar, copywriting, captions, and daily publishing
\nBuild and maintain an active online community by responding to comments, DMs, and tagged content
\nDrive ticket sales and vendor sign-ups through targeted content, contests, influencer collaborations, and paid ad optimisation
\nMonitor performance analytics and adjust strategies based on engagement and conversion rates
\nProvide live social media coverage during key pre-festival activities and festival weekend
\nAssist with post-event reporting and digital wrap-up<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
5+ years experience managing social media accounts and content for large-scale events, festivals, or lifestyle brands
\nStrong copywriting, content planning, and visual storytelling skills
\nProven ability to manage and grow social communities
\nProficiency in content planning\u00a0\u00a0tools\u00a0(Later, Hootsuite, or similar) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite)
\nExperience with influencer management and digital partnerships is a major plus
\nStrong understanding of Zambian and regional cultural trends, food scenes, and youth digital behaviour
\nAvailable for on-site coverage during event dates and pre-event activations<\/p>\n
