Flavours Festival 2025 \u2013 Zambia\u2019s biggest food, drink and lifestyle celebration \u2013 is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the planning and on-ground execution of this high-energy, high-profile event.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Flavours Festival 2025
\nOversee site layouts, supplier coordination, security, logistics, ticketing, venue and vendor management
\nCoordinate with chefs, performers, partners, sponsors, media, exhibitors, and stakeholders
\nEnsure delivery of all festival components including the Main Arena, VIP Marquee, Live Cooking Demos, Bar Stations, Kids\u2019 Area, and Activation Zones
\nDevelop and manage detailed event production schedules and checklists
\nSupervise event staff, runners, interns, and service teams
\nManage pre-event set-up, live event logistics, and post-event debriefs
\nLiaise with local authorities for permits, compliance, and safety
\nEnsure seamless guest experience, health & safety, and flow of activities across the grounds
\nProvide real-time issue resolution and team direction on event days
\nAssist with budgeting and supplier payments where required<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
4+ years of proven experience managing medium to large-scale events or festivals
\nStrong organisational, multitasking and leadership skills
\nExcellent vendor management, budgeting and negotiation experience
\nAbility to work calmly under pressure and solve problems in real time
\nStrong communication and team coordination skills
\nExperience managing large event teams and multiple event zones
\nFamiliarity with Zambian event regulations, HORECA and entertainment industries is a plus
\nAvailable for full-time commitment during pre-production and all festival dates<\/p>\n
