Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation (MEF) is a faith based, non-denominational and Pan African Centre of Study, Worship and Reflection. It is located in Mindolo, Kitwe District on Copperbelt Province of Zambia.
\nMEF invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Project Officer. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Director and play a pivotal role in the writing of project proposals, planning, implementing, and monitoring of the Foundation\u2019s projects.
\nPosition: Project Officer
\nReporting To: Executive Director (ED)
\nDuties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery in line with the Foundation\u2019s strategic objectives
\nFacilitate collaboration among project teams, partners, and stakeholders
\nPrepare comprehensive project reports and present updates to the Executive Director
\nMonitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively
\nIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
\nWriting and submitting new project proposals
\nTake any other duties as may be specified by the managment\/Executive Director<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
A minimum of a First Degree in Project Management or a related discipline
\nDemonstrable experience in project planning, implementation, and evaluation
\nExcellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
\nProficiency in project management software and\u00a0\u00a0tools\u00a0will be an added advantage
\nA minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in projects management
\nExperience in working with community groups is an added advantage
\nHave strong sense of personal accountability
\nCommunication skills and achievement of commitments and goals<\/p>\n
Languages: English essential
\nAbility to write reports in English.
