The Administration and Human Resource Officer will also be responsible for administrative tasks and ensure that the company is a better place to work through Human Resource Management.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities<br \/>\nSupport the development and implementation of Human Resource initiatives and systems.<br \/>\nProvide counselling on policies and procedures.<br \/>\nBe actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements and managing the hiring process and support managers in the effective staff of their teams.<br \/>\nCreate and implement effective on boarding and induction plans including training and development programs for the business.<br \/>\nSupport and implement the management of disciplinary grievance policies and procedures.<br \/>\nReview employment and working conditions to ensure Regulatory and Labour compliance.<br \/>\nCoordinate the implementation of company policies and practices taking cognizance of operational dynamics and needs.<br \/>\nSupport larger Human Resource initiatives (e.g succession and development planning, performance reviews) by consolidating data, updating charts, and preparing reports.<br \/>\nAd-hoc administration and analytical support including HRIS administration and Human Resource Reporting.<br \/>\nTrain new hires, mentor in conjunction with line managers, less experienced analysts and provide the team with development opportunities.<br \/>\nReview labour laws, government policies and labour market conditions to ensure compliance is maintained.<br \/>\nDrive a culture of high performance where talent is recognised, stretched and poor performance managed (ideally to achieve a higher level of performance).<br \/>\nChallenge team cultures and behaviours to ensure that they are always consistent with organizational culture.<br \/>\nDevelop an external network to be up to date in terms of practice within the sector (professional bodies).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCandidates requirements<br \/>\nGrade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five Credits<br \/>\nRelevant Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related area of study<br \/>\nAtleast 5 years practical experience in Human Resource Management<br \/>\nMust be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)<br \/>\nExcellent skills in MS Office<br \/>\nCommitment, highly motivated and ethical<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
