\nWe are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
\nPOSITION: AUTOMATION AND CONTROL TECHNICIAN
\nLOCATION: KITWE
\nCONTRACT: PERMANENT
\nReporting to the Maintenance Controller the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:<\/p>\n
Maintenance of PLC and SCADA hardware
\nMaintenance of software standards for the site
\nSupport plant teams with instrumentation, plc and Scada troubleshooting
\nMaintenance and calibration of field instrumentation and measuring devices for the site
\nApply world class manufacturing principles and practices
\nSupport development and implementation of plc and instrumentation maintenance plans
\nParticipate in problem solving to optimise plant, process equipment and systems
\nOperate plant and process equipment<\/p>\n
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nMust have a minimum of Instrumentation or Electronics or Electromechanical technician
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience as automation\/instrumentation\/control artisan on high-speed packing lines or distributed control systems
\nMember of Engineering Institute of Zambia
\nGood knowledge of SIEMENS PLC\u2019s
\nAdvanced SIMATIC Training will be an added advantage
\nMore than 2 years\u2019 experience with SCADA system maintenance<\/p>\n
