\nPOSITION:\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0BOILER OPERATOR
\nCONTRACT:\u00a0 PERMANENT
\nLOCATION: \u00a0\u00a0KITWE
\nReporting to the Brewing and Utilities Controller, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following: \u2013<\/p>\n
Making sure that there are enough water treatment chemicals in the dosing vessel and the salt vessel, and monitor the performance of the water treatment plant.
\nRemoving boiler ashes at intervals when coal is completely spent.
\nMaking sure that during boiler start up, the water level is high.
\nMaking sure that there is sufficient water in the hot well once the boiler is running, for support.
\nCarrying out maintenance procedures as required by his supervisor.
\nLiaising with the Production Department concerning steam demands.
\nEnsuring that Operational areas are kept clean and in order at all times
\nEnsuring that the Boiler is operating within its safety parameters.<\/p>\n

\nThe job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.<\/p>\n
Grade 12 certificate.
\nA Boiler Operation certificate.
\nA minimum of two (2) years\u2019 experience in the related field.
\nAble to communicate well, oral and written.
\nProblem solving skills and able to detect and react to problems promptly.
\nA Team player.<\/p>\n
