If you excel at team leadership, technical problem-solving, and ensuring peak operational efficiency, we want to hear from you!<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nLead and manage a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring optimal workload allocation and daily workflow.<br \/>\nCoordinate resources and collaborate with internal\/external stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on schedule.<br \/>\nServe as the primary technical advisor on critical projects and business initiatives.<br \/>\nOversee plant maintenance, workshop safety, and adherence to quality standards.<br \/>\nImplement and maintain OMC audit requirements and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) protocols.<br \/>\nSupervise, mentor, and provide technical training to workshop personnel.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\nEDUCATION<br \/>\nGrade 12 School Certificate.<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in engineering OR a Professional Qualification in the vehicle\/equipment domain.<br \/>\nCERTIFICATION AND LICENSE<br \/>\nMechanic Trade Qualification (or equivalent).<br \/>\nFull range of licenses required to operate relevant workshop equipment.<br \/>\nMust be a Registered Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).<br \/>\nEXPERIENCE<br \/>\nMinimum 5 years of in-depth, post-qualification experience in plant maintenance and workshop management.<br \/>\nProven experience managing teams within a technical workshop environment.<br \/>\nESSENTIAL: Exposure to OMC audit requirements and foundational HSEQ knowledge.<br \/>\nSKILLS<br \/>\nExceptional organizational and planning abilities.<br \/>\nStrong staff supervision, training, and mentorship skills.<br \/>\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.<br \/>\nAbility to liaise effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.<br \/>\nWORK SHOURS: 8 Hours per day<br \/>\nEXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 60 Months (5 Years) minimum, post-qualification.<br \/>\nLEVEL OF EDUCATION: Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent Professional Qualification.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
