Working with partners like these, the private sector, and government, we are seeing communities awakened to new ways of improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable, and rise up to be the key to their own transformation.<br \/>\nJob Title: Finance Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0Hybrid (Lusaka\/Home)<br \/>\nSalary:\u00a0Competitive + Benefits<br \/>\nJob Type: 3 months short term Contract, with possible extension<br \/>\nReporting\u00a0to:\u00a0Programs Manager<br \/>\nPosition Summary<br \/>\nECR is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support our financial management and reporting functions during critical implementation period. This is a short-term, full time contract position for 3 months, with potential for extension depending on the availability of funding. The Finance Coordinator will play a key leadership role in overseeing grant finances, ensuring compliance with donor regulations, and supporting program teams with timely financial analysis and reporting.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nOversee day to day financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance functions.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with donor rules and regulations, particularly CDC and Global Fund-funded projects<br \/>\nProvide leadership and support to the finance team, ensuring timely reconciliations and financial closeouts<br \/>\nMonitor project spending against budgets and provide timey alerts on variances<br \/>\nLiaise with auditors, donors, and other stakeholders as needed<br \/>\nSupport development of budget forecasts and funding pipelines<br \/>\nMaintain updated records and documentation to ensure audit readiness.<br \/>\nOversee cash flow management, cost control, and risk management.<br \/>\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal use and donor submission<br \/>\nManage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.<br \/>\nAbout You<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)<br \/>\nAt least 5 years progressive experience in financial management, including at least 2 years leading teams.<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience in managing CDC, Global fund or USAID grants, progressive experience<br \/>\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.<br \/>\nProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Pastel, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools<br \/>\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines<br \/>\nExcellent leadership and team management abilities.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
